This morning, representatives and supporters from San Tan Valley Inc. submitted approximately 10,500 petition signatures to the Pinal County Elections Department, requesting an election to decide if San Tan Valley can be incorporated as a town.
The Elections Department will begin processing petitions before transferring custody of a random selection of signatures to the Recorder’s office for signature verification.
If at least 6,107 signatures are accepted by the County, subject to approval from the Board of Supervisors, the voters of San Tan Valley will have an election on August 5, 2025, to vote on whether they wish to become incorporated as a town.
