An I-10 commercial vehicle inspection June 11 between Arizona City and Marana placed 13 commercial vehicles and 10 drivers out of service.
The eight-hour detail ran from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. Arizona Department of Public Safety troopers assigned to the Commercial Vehicle Enforcement Unit worked alongside officers from ADOT’s Enforcement and Compliance Division on the I-10 commercial vehicle inspection.
The operation produced the following results:
- 38 commercial vehicle inspections
- 134 driver/vehicle examination report violations
- 13 commercial vehicles placed out of service
- 10 drivers placed out of service
