CASA GRANDE, AZ — Property taxpayers have been notified of a Casa Grande property tax increase, with the city proposing to raise primary property taxes by $111,945, or 1.87%, over last year’s level.
Under the proposal, the owner of a $100,000 home would pay $96.43 in City primary property taxes, including the increase. Without the proposed increase, that same homeowner would owe $94.66.
Under Arizona’s Truth in Taxation law, the 1.87% figure excludes revenue from new construction and any voter-approved bonded indebtedness or budget and tax overrides.
A public hearing on the tax increase is scheduled for Monday, June 1, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. The hearing will be held at the city council chambers, located at 510 E. Florence Boulevard, Casa Grande, AZ 85122. All interested citizens are invited to attend.
