Cottonwood Lane and Pinal Avenue
Starting Monday, September 8, crews will begin work on median improvements along Cottonwood Lane, just east of Pinal Avenue. The project is expected to last approximately three weeks.
The improvements are designed to enhance traffic flow and improve safety by extending the existing median. This change will help reduce the likelihood and severity of accidents at the intersection by preventing drivers from crossing the queuing area of the westbound left-turn lane.
During construction, motorists should anticipate minor traffic impacts and lane shifts in the work zone. Drivers are encouraged to use caution and allow extra time when traveling through the area.
