I-10 Commercial Vehicle Inspection Removes 13 Vehicles, 10 Drivers From Service

An I-10 commercial vehicle inspection June 11 between Arizona City and Marana placed 13 commercial vehicles and 10 drivers out of service.

The eight-hour detail ran from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. Arizona Department of Public Safety troopers assigned to the Commercial Vehicle Enforcement Unit worked alongside officers from ADOT’s Enforcement and Compliance Division on the I-10 commercial vehicle inspection.

The operation produced the following results:

  • 38 commercial vehicle inspections
  • 134 driver/vehicle examination report violations
  • 13 commercial vehicles placed out of service
  • 10 drivers placed out of service
