The Arizona Department of Transportation advises motorists to prepare for lane restrictions and delays on north- and southbound State Route 79 between milepost 105 and milepost 110 in Pinal County while crews begin work on SR 79 Rehabilitation Project. Lane closures will be in place daily from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday, through the end of summer.
Drivers should prepare for:
- A flagging operation on SR 79 within the project corridor with a pilot car to guide motorists one direction at a time.
- The speed limit to be reduced to 25 mph within the project area during work hours.
The schedule is subject to change due to weather and other unforeseen circumstances. Drivers should proceed through the work zone with caution, slow down and watch for construction personnel and equipment.
