Lane Restrictions on SR 187 Begin Oct. 14

The Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers to plan for the following lane restrictions on State Route 187, between the Interstate 10 and SR 387 junction (milepost 186) and SR 87 (milepost 192) beginning Tuesday, Oct. 14, as a new pavement rehabilitation project gets underway on the Gila River Indian Community

Motorists can expect the following restrictions:

  • North- and southbound lane restrictions on SR 187 between mileposts 186 and 192 daily from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday
  • Rolling lane restrictions as crews work in multiple sections each day 
  • A flagging operation in the project area
  • The speed limit will be reduced to 25 mph in the work zone

Drivers should allow extra travel time, use caution, be prepared to slow down and merge safely when approaching and traveling through all work zones.
