The City of Apache Junction is proud to share that Dave Butler from our Parks and Recreation Department has been named Park Professional of the Year at this year’s Arizona Parks and Recreation Association (APRA) Conference.
In addition to this outstanding individual recognition, our entire Parks and Recreation team was celebrated for their dedication and hard work throughout the year. The city also received the award for Most Outstanding Facility for Painted Sky Park, located at 10109 S. Dutchman Drive.
These awards reflect the commitment, passion, and innovation our Parks and Recreation team brings to the community every day. We are grateful for their efforts in making Apache Junction a better place to live, work, and play, and we look forward to what they will accomplish in the year ahead.
