APACHE JUNCTION, AZ — An Apache Junction mobile home fire prompted a large multi-crew response from Superstition Fire & Medical District Wednesday evening, engulfing a residence and nearby outbuildings near Frontier Street and Warner.
The call came in at 8:26 p.m. on July 22, 2026, for a reported garage fire. As responders sized up the scene, the call was upgraded twice, sending additional engines, firefighters, and equipment to the property. Arriving crews found the home and several detached structures burning.

Firefighters worked the perimeter of the property, fighting the fire from the outside to keep flames from spreading to nearby homes. Several water tanker trucks kept a steady supply flowing to the hoses. Crews stayed on scene overnight, putting out flare-ups and searching for fire hidden inside walls and debris.
No civilians or firefighters were hurt in the Apache Junction mobile home fire. The cause remains under investigation.
