Silver Alert resolved: Children have been located and are safe

UPDATE: PCSO has located the family and the children are safe.


A Silver Alert has been issued as the Pinal County Sheriff’s Office searches for a 36-year-old woman who removed her two children from state custody Sunday evening.

Madlyn Pence is believed to have taken her children, Julian Ayers, 15, and Leo Ayers, 12, from their home at 39107 S. Rodeo Buckle Drive in Saddlebrooke around 8:30 p.m. on June 29, 2025.

According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety Silver Alert, Julian suffers from a condition in which he is unable to care for himself.

Authorities believe Pence is driving a tan 2008 Ford Taurus with Arizona license plate AWA3MW and was possibly heading toward Kingman.

Julian Ayers is described as 5’10” tall, weighing 170 pounds, with brown hair and hazel eyes. He was last seen wearing a gray shirt with red and black pajama pants.

Leo Ayers is 5’6″ tall, weighing 150 pounds, with brown hair and hazel eyes. He was last seen wearing a gray shirt and gray shorts.

The Silver Alert remains active. Anyone who has contact with any of these individuals should call 911 immediately. For other information about their whereabouts, contact Detective J. Kurcsics at the Pinal County Sheriff’s Office at 520-866-5111.
