The Park Place Plein Air Festival is your chance to create in the moment and have your work seen by:

  • Jessica Gonzales – Tucson’s queen of public art and murals, known for transforming city walls into vibrant, unforgettable landmarks
  • Russell Kahn – 30+ year art educator who has shaped the skills and vision of generations of artists
  • Paul Gold – Artist, historian, and 50+ year champion of Tucson’s creative story

Saturday, September 6 | 11 AM – 4 PM | Park Place Mall

Paint indoors under skylights or outdoors in sunlit courtyards, capturing the energy, architecture, and life of one of Tucson’s most iconic spaces. Whether it’s a quiet corner garden, the Catalina Mountain views, or the buzz of shoppers, your subject will be alive right in front of you.
