CASA GRANDE, AZ — Arizona State Troopers recovered a stolen vehicle on March 31, 2026, during a traffic stop on eastbound I-10 near Val Vista Boulevard in Casa Grande. Troopers pulled over the driver without incident and took him into custody. He was the sole occupant.
Investigators later learned the driver had been paid to transport the vehicle from Phoenix to Mexico. Troopers contacted the owner, and arrangements are underway to return it.
As a result, the driver was booked into Pinal County Jail on charges related to Theft of Means of Transportation.
