Koepnick Property San Tan Valley hearings continued to March over road access concerns. The 69-acre development proposes 340 homes south of Judd Road near Copper Basin.

The Pinal County Board of Supervisors approved the 389-acre North Copper Basin development in a 4–1 vote, setting the stage for thousands of new homes in San Tan Valley. The project, on State Trust Land, will be auctioned in phases starting in 2026 and includes at least 25 acres of commercial space.

San Tan Valley gets a significant 2,300-unit development with mixed-use planning approved by the Pinal County Planning Commission.
