Starting Thursday, April 10, and continuing for approximately two weeks, Metronet contractors will resume construction along Florence Boulevard between Peart Road and Arizola Road, as well as along Arizola Road heading south to Doan Street. Lane shifts will be required to allow crews to work in the right-of-way. Motorists are asked to drive with caution and reduce speeds in the cone zone. Operations will take place Monday through Friday from 8a.m. to 4p.m.

During this time, residents may notice Metronet crews working in neighborhoods as they continue both aerial and underground fiber installations. All Metronet team members and vehicles will be clearly marked with the company’s logo for easy identification.

To minimize disruption, Metronet uses state-of-the-art installation technology. In areas where utilities are overhead, crews will utilize existing utility poles. In neighborhoods with underground utilities, fiber cables will be installed using advanced horizontal drilling methods designed to limit surface impact.

To keep the community informed, Metronet has a dedicated construction website. The site includes detailed information about the construction process, helpful videos, and a way for residents to alert Metronet of any potential concerns—such as underground sprinkler systems or invisible pet fences.

Residents with questions about installation are encouraged to visit Metronet’s website for assistance.

The City of Casa Grande thanks residents for their continued patience and cooperation as Metronet works to bring high-speed fiber internet to homes and businesses throughout the community.
