Gila River Police Department recovered illegal firearms following an investigation. According to the department, these weapons were designed to cause mass harm, devastate families, and permanently alter lives.
The department stated that these firearms pose a danger to the community when they fall into the wrong hands. According to police, proactive enforcement efforts aim to keep dangerous weapons off the streets and away from prohibited individuals.
The department thanked the GRPD Criminal Investigations Bureau, Violent Crimes Unit, and Special Investigations Unit for their professionalism, coordination, and continued dedication to public safety.
