An officer-involved shooting in Apache Junction on Feb. 14, 2026, left one man dead near Shiprock St. and Main Dr.; Mesa Police are leading the investigation.

Queen Creek Police responded to reports of a suicidal man with a firearm on Wednesday afternoon, resulting in an officer-involved shooting near Chandler Heights Road. The suspect was pronounced dead at the scene, and Mesa Police are leading the investigation as part of the East Valley Critical Incident Response Team.
