APACHE JUNCTION, AZ — Superstition Fire & Medical District crews responded to a commercial structure fire near Royal Palm and Baseline at approximately 20:00 on Monday night, finding an active fire inside a large transfer station upon arrival.
Firefighters employed a defensive strategy, using multiple hoses and high-volume water streams to contain and extinguish the fire, bringing it under control without further incident. No injuries were reported among civilians or firefighters.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
