Orthodox Easter 2026, known as Pascha, is observed on April 12 and stands as the crown of the Orthodox Christian liturgical year, celebrating the resurrection of Jesus Christ in a tradition that stretches back to the earliest centuries of the Church. Beginning with a midnight service that fills the darkness with candlelight and the proclamation “Christ is Risen!”, Pascha is a deeply spiritual and communal celebration of life over death.
