Did you know Pinal County residents have access to nine free disposal days a year?
Residents can take household, non-hazardous waste to one of two privately-owned landfills in the County free of charge.
Acceptable Waste: Municipal Solid Waste, Household Trash, Food Waste, Non-Hazardous Commercial Waste, Furniture and Appliances (documented free of refrigerant), Construction Debris, Wood, Paper, and Metal.
Non-acceptable Waste: Asbestos, Special Waste, Animal Carcasses, Items containing Freon (AC Units), Pressurized tanks, Railroad ties, Rocks, Pavers, Concrete soil/dirt, Medical waste, sharps (needles), Regulated hazardous waste, Radioactive waste, Regulated Polychlorinated Biphenyls (PBC) wastes, Biohazardous and radioactive medical waste, Appliances that may leak CFCs or HCFCs, Whole tires, Lead-acid batteries, Used oil, Arizona regulated waste, Explosives (gunpowder, bullets, etc.), and Automotive parts.
