ELOY, AZ – Several fire units responded to a house fire early this morning in the area of Nogales Way and Comanche Drive. Flames had engulfed the property’s garage and were threatening to spread throughout the residence when Eloy Fire Department personnel arrived. Firefighters immediately set up high-volume water equipment to knock down the primary blaze, followed by smaller hose lines to extinguish remaining hot spots and prevent further spread. Fire officials say the crew’s strategic approach prevented the complete loss of the dwelling. No one was hurt in the fire. Investigators are working to determine what sparked the blaze.
