Rural Metro crews responded to an unusual call last night after a bear was spotted in a palm tree near the intersection of Arizona Farms and Felix.
First responders collaborated with mutual aid partners from Queen Creek Ladder 411 and the Arizona Game & Fish Department. Together, they successfully tranquilized the animal.
The bear was safely removed and no injuries were reported during the incident.
