Maricopa, AZ – Vincent Manfredi has officially been named Maricopa’s Vice Mayor for the 2026 calendar year. His fellow council members voted unanimously for the appointment following the nomination by Vice Mayor Henry Wade at Tuesday night’s meeting.
With this appointment, Manfredi steps into the role for a second time during his city council tenure. He previously served as Vice Mayor during the 2022 calendar year and held the role of Mayor when former Mayor Christian Price stepped down.
“I am happy to serve after being nominated by Vice Mayor Wade and unanimously selected by my fellow Councilmembers. The next year we’re going to be facing a lot of transportation issues and I’ll be ready to represent the City of Maricopa to ensure those issues get resolved,” Manfredi said.
Manfredi is serving his third term on Council and is a member of numerous transportation organizations including: Arizona Rural Transportation Advocacy Council Board of Directors, Pinal Regional Transportation Authority Board of Directors, Arizona League of Cities & Towns Transportation, Infrastructure and Public Works Committee, Maricopa Associations of Governments Transportation Policy Committee.
Outgoing Vice Mayor Henry Wade shared his thoughts on the selection.
“I was honored to serve as the Vice Mayor. Being called to do something for the City of Maricopa is a gift and it’s a good feeling knowing that the people are being represented,” Wade expressed. “Manfredi is going to do even more with the capacity he possesses so I am honored to nominate him as our next Vice Mayor.”
Wade is currently in his third term as a city councilmember and this marks his second completed term as Vice Mayor.
