Gila River Police Department rangers recently apprehended individuals attempting to illegally dump a boat on tribal land, despite clearly posted “No Trespassing / No Illegal Dumping” signage in the area. The violators were issued citations and faced additional towing fees.
The Gila River Indian Community emphasizes that illegal dumping is prohibited for all individuals, regardless of tribal membership status. The department continues its efforts to protect community lands and maintain environmental standards through regular patrols and enforcement actions.
