Florence Seeks Residents for Boards and Commissions

The Town of Florence is looking for residents to serve on local boards and commissions. Several positions are now open across multiple advisory groups. These roles offer community members a chance to help shape Florence’s future.

Multiple Openings Across Six Groups

Florence boards and commissions currently have 17 total positions available. The Board of Appeals needs one member. The Charles Whitlow Rodeo Grounds Advisory Board has three openings. Four positions are open on the Community Services Advisory Board.

The Historic District Advisory Commission seeks five new members. Three spots are available on the Planning and Zoning Commission. The Teen Council needs one citizen liaison.

Application Requirements and Process

Applicants must be qualified electors. All candidates must be at least 18 years old.

Residents can pick up applications at Town Hall located at 775 N. Main Street. Applications are also available online at https://www.florenceaz.gov/boards-and-commissions/. Questions can be directed to Town Hall at (520) 868-7500.

Deadline and Selection Timeline

All applications must be submitted by December 15, 2025. Positions will remain open until filled.
