Casa Grande, AZ – On June 18, 2025, the Casa Grande Police Department arrested five subjects in connection with an armed robbery that occurred at the Sinclair Fuel Station, located at 2012 North Trekell Road. Those subjects are a 15-year-old female, 18-year-old Keannia Dearing, 19-year-old Deavazhae Bonner, 19-year-old Jason Dalton, and 21-year-old Steven Mariscal. These five subjects are being transported and booked into the Pinal County Adult and Juvenile Detention Centers, respectively. On June 18, 2025, at approximately 1:48 a.m., Casa Grande Police Officers responded to a call of an armed robbery at the Sinclair Fuel Station. The investigation revealed the five aforementioned subjects entered the convenience store, grabbed several items, and left the store without paying. The store employee followed them outside as they ran south toward Agave House Apartments, located at 1936 North Trekell Road. Once across the street, one of the five subjects turned and fired two gunshots toward the employee. The employee was not injured.
Officers were able to identify a specific apartment where the five subjects ran into and attempted to contact them. The subjects refused to exit the apartment. After multiple unsuccessful attempts were made to convince them to exit the apartment, and the threat of a firearm being used in the crime, Pinal Regional S.W.A.T. was activated to manage the scene. At approximately 7:00 a.m., Officers made entry into the apartment and took all five subjects into custody with no further incident. A handgun was discovered in the apartment. This remains an active investigation.
To ensure the safety of our community, multiple adjoining apartments were evacuated, and Trekell Road was closed. We want to thank the Casa Grande community for their assistance and patience during this investigation
