CASA GRANDE, AZ — The City of Casa Grande is calling on all residents to join the conversation at its upcoming Community Open House, an important opportunity to meet with City Council and staff members and share your ideas, ask questions, and provide feedback on anything city related.
The event takes place on Monday, August 11, from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Dorothy Powell Senior Center, located at 405 E. 6th Street. Residents are welcome to drop in at any time. It’s a casual, come-and-go format designed for open communication.
“Our January Open House welcomed around 100 community members,” said Mayor Lisa Navarro Fitzgibbons. “We’re hoping to see even more this time around. These face-to-face conversations are vital. Our job is to listen, and these meetings are one of the best ways we can stay connected to the people we serve.”
The Community Open House is more than just a meeting, it’s a chance for residents to play an active role in shaping Casa Grande’s future. During the evening, City Council will:
- Hear directly from residents about their concerns, priorities, and ideas.
- Share updates on budgeted projects and programs and explore opportunities to improve services.
- Identify ways to collaborate with residents to address challenges and seize opportunities.
This event is part of the “Engage Casa Grande!” initiative, which is designed to bring government and community members together through open, transparent conversations.
Additional community meetings are planned throughout the year in different areas of the city to ensure all voices are heard.
Get Involved. Be Heard. Make a Difference.
