Public comments on social media indicate the suspects appeared to have knowledge of the establishment’s camera placement. Multiple observers noted that the suspects seemed to deliberately avoid security cameras, leading to speculation about possible connections to former employees or individuals familiar with the business operations.

Residents with information about the robbery have multiple secure ways to assist the investigation while maintaining their privacy. The Casa Grande Silent Witness Program, established in 1982, ensures complete anonymity for all tipsters. When calling the Silent Witness tip-line at (520) 836-2100, individuals receive a secret code number that protects their identity while allowing them to claim a reward if their information leads to an arrest or indictment.

The program implemented a web-based tip management system in 2012 to accept information through various channels. Tips can be submitted online at casagrandesilentwitness.com or by texting CRIMES to 274637 with the code “SW911” followed by the information. The system’s two-way dialog capabilities allow tipsters to provide additional information later while maintaining their anonymity.

Silent Witness offers rewards up to $1,000 for information leading to a felony arrest or indictment. A civilian board of directors evaluates each case and determines reward amounts based on the information’s value. All rewards are funded through private donations and fundraising efforts, with no tax dollars involved.

Those who prefer to contact law enforcement directly can reach Detective Sergeant McCabe at mm*****@ca**********.gov or (520) 560-0121.
