The City of Apache Junction invites residents to apply for the Citizen Leadership Institute, a free program designed to help community members learn more about municipal government and explore opportunities for civic engagement.
Program Highlights:
- Learn how local government operates
- Meet city staff and elected officials
- Engage with fellow community members
- Explore board and commission service opportunities
Schedule:
- Sessions are held every other Wednesday beginning January 21, 2026
- Program runs through May
- Classes meet from 6:30 to 9:00 PM
Eligibility:
Open to anyone who lives, works, or volunteers within the Apache Junction city limits.
